Pet Food for Families in Need

The 2014 Companion Animal Hospital Pet Food Drive is going strong all through November. Last year we gave over 350 pounds of pet food to the Groton Social Services Food Bank in time for the holidays. This year our goal is 500 pounds and we are well on our way!

With donations from our clients and many others in the area we can help many pets get the nutritious meals they deserve. As any pet-lover knows – our cats and dogs bring an important quality to our lives like nothing else can. The love of a pet may be even more important to those who are alone, elderly or in need.

Don’t forget about the cats! While they are relatively low maintenance pets, they still need to eat. The Food Bank is especially in need of cat food and smaller sizes of dog food. Greater numbers of smaller size bags allow them to distribute food to more families.

Food may be dropped off at CAH on M-W-F from 7AM – 5PM, Tu & Th from 7AM – 7:30PM, and Sat 8AM – 2 PM. Our goal is to help as many pets as possible – thanks for your help!
